titleOfInvention | Surface ring analogs of fibroblast growth factor |
abstract | Structural analogs of fibroblast growth factors have amino acid sequence substitutions on the surface rings connecting the ninth and tenth beta strands or the ninth and eleventh beta strands, and the overlap of molecules is not severely modified. The analogs submitted have the overall secondary and tertiary structure of the original factor, and heparin and infant cell growth factor families bind with high affinity to members. In some specific expressions, the substitute is another amino acid sequence, such as another structurally related fibroblast growth factor or the ring sequence of interleukin. |
