titleOfInvention Permanent Wave Composition
abstract One or more thiol compounds or reducing agents consisting of ammonium thiolactate, monoethanolamine thiolactic acid, isopropanolamine, thiolactate, and thiolactic acid can be used for long-lasting permanent wave hair. It was achieved by providing a permenent wave composition containing in combination with at least one alkali agent selected from the group consisting of: In a preferred embodiment, the molar ratio of alkylolamine to thiolactic acid or salt is about 0.3 to 1.0. The present invention has achieved permenent wave hair that can last for a long time without producing a substantially bad smell.
