Photocatalyst and Water Purification Method Using the Same |
abstract |
A photocatalyst consisting of inorganic porous particles in which optical semiconductor particles are deposited on a part of the equatorial part of particle surface staining and a part of the equatorial part of the pore wall of the particle, and a photosemiconductor particle and a microorganism having a water purification activity, A photocatalyst consisting of inorganic porous particles deposited on at least a portion of the pore wall surface is disclosed. This photocatalyst is useful for various photocatalytic reactions because it has a stable photocatalytic action for a long period of time and can be easily separated from the treated water examples. In particular, this photocatalyst can be efficiently used in water purification, and it is convenient and easy to achieve the extinction of harmful organisms such as algae fungi and bacteria, the decomposition of harmful substances as well as deodorization and decolorization. |
