abstract The present invention comprises (A) basically polyethylene-2,6, -naphthalenedicarboxylate containing naphthoic acid units (in methyl naphthoate form) in an amount of 2 to 1,000 ppm, and (B) weight ratio as a hexafluoro-2,6 2/3 polyethylene, in the isopropanol / chloroform mixed solvent as determined using naphthalene dicarboxylate 10㎎ / ml solution, at least 95% / ㎝ in 400㎚ wavelength light transmittance (T 400 ), (C) has a yellow index (Y ID ) of 5 or less, and (D) relates to a base film for photo film having a turbidity value of 2.0% or less.
