titleOfInvention Colored Surgical Sutures in a New Way
abstract The present invention is D & C Violet No. 2 (1-hydroxy-4-p-toluino anthraquinone) which is a high molecular weight polycaprolactone and a copolymer of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene and a coloring agent or D & C Green No. 6 [1-4-bis (p-toluidino) -anthraquinone] is dissolved in an organic solvent so that the amount of the coloring agent is 0.01 to 0.4% by weight based on the high molecular weight coating agent. The present invention relates to a colored surgical suture and a method of manufacturing the same, wherein the surgical suture is immersed in a solvent and taken out, followed by drying the organic solvent to coat the coating with the coloring agent only on the surface of the suture.
