abstract |
The catalyst selected from perfluorosulfonic acid and its anhydrides can react the non-conjugated dry oil with phenol to produce phenol-added vegetable oils without causing hydrolysis of the non-conjugated dry oil. Phenol-added vegetable oils are reacted with aldehydes to produce vegetable oil-modified phenolic resins. Laminates prepared by impregnating paper with a vegetable oil-modified phenolic resin and loading and molding the impregnated paper have excellent low temperature punching quality and electrical properties and have molecular weight components that exude to the surface of the laminate. |
