abstract New far-infrared radiation materials are provided which effectively radiate the thermal energy required to excite animals and plants such as water molecules contained in the human body. Far-infrared radiation material is 5 to 60% by weight alumina, at least one titanium compound selected from titanium dioxide, titanium carbide and titanium boride 20 to 70% by weight, at least one zirconium compound selected from zirconia, zirconium carbide and zirconium boride 20 To 50% by weight, and 0.01 to 0.5% by weight of rare earth oxides. Far-infrared radiation compositions comprise materials and resins and can be made in the form of plates, tutes, sheets or fibers.
