abstract The present invention relates to 1, 4-dioxyno [2, 3-b] pyridine derivatives represented by the following formula I or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof:n n n n n n n n Wherein each of the R groups is independently selected from hydrogen, hydroxy, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, CF 3 , and halogen; R 1 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; n is 2, 3 or 4; X is CH 2 , C = 0, or SO 2 ; Y is substituted or unsubstituted 1, 2-phenylene,-(CH 2 ) 4- , -CH 2 CR 2 R 3 -or -CH 2 CR 2 R 3 CH 2- , wherein R 2 and R 3 Is independently hydrogen or lower alkyl, or together is 1, 4-butanediyl or 1, 5-pentanediyl.n n n The compounds according to the invention are strong serotonin ligands, preferred for the 5HT 1A receptor, and therefore can be applied as an anti-inhibitor or as an anxiety drug.
