New antihepetically active lipsticks contain (A) an antiherpetically active combination of at least one sulphated polysaccharide or sulphated polymer or salt thereof and a dissociable zinc salt, in admixture with (B) a polyethlene glycol mixt., the components of which have a molecular weight between 300 and 4000. Pref. the lipsticks contain, per gram, 0.2-10 (esp. 1-5) mg sulphated polysaccharide, sulphated polymer or salt thereof, and 0.18-18 mg zinc ions in the form of dissociable zinc salts. |
