titleOfInvention | Method for improving the resistance to the drought stress using pepper protein kinase CaGRAS1 in plants |
abstract | The present invention relates to a CaGRAS1 gene, a transcription factor derived from a red pepper cultivar, a protein composed of amino acids encoded by the gene, and a method for enhancing plant drying stress resistance using the gene or protein, wherein the CaGRAS1 protein is a positive regulator of ABA signal transduction. Function and the effect of enhancing dry stress resistance was confirmed in transgenic plants in which the protein was overexpressed. Through the regulation of expression of the CaGRAS1 gene, it can be used to improve crops that can be used by mankind, and is particularly useful for improving plant productivity It is hoped that it will be usable. |
