The present invention provides a process for preparing a coating or layer on a substrate comprising at least one polyurethane dispersant, at least one flame retardant which may be halogen-based or halogen-free, at least one foam stabilizer and additionally at least one crosslinking agent. and mechanically foaming the mixture, applying it as a foam on a substrate, and additionally adding flocked fibers, followed by drying, wherein the foam has flame retardant properties and is a stable pressure-resistant dry foam. |
