abstract |
The present invention relates to a biomarker composition for diagnosing thyroid eye disease and uses thereof, and more particularly, to a biomarker composition for diagnosing thyroid eye disease comprising VDB and CHI3L1 and uses thereof. The present inventors analyzed proteins in exosomes isolated from tear fluid of normal individuals and patients with thyroid eye disease, and discovered a gene with significantly increased expression in patients with thyroid eye disease compared to normal individuals as a marker for diagnosing thyroid eye disease. It is expected that the marker composition according to the present invention can be used efficiently because it can diagnose thyroid eye disease at an early stage. |
