Provided herein is a method of making T cells for T cell therapy, the method comprising contacting a density of a population of cells with a concentration of an anti-CD3/CD28 nanomatrix, and culturing the cells to obtain at least one T cell. generating a T cell population comprising an increased percentage of cell subtypes. In some embodiments, the method increases the percentage of stem memory T cells. |
