The present invention provides a method of sintering a compact zirconia compact or a plastic zirconia compact in a short time, and also provides a method for producing a sintered zirconia compact in which the esthetic requirements and strength of an ideal dental prosthesis are equal to those of ordinary sintering. The present invention has a sintering process of a zirconia compact or a calcined zirconia body, wherein the sintering process is a temperature raising process of at least three steps of a first temperature raising process (H1), a second temperature raising process (H2), and a third temperature raising process (H3). Including, the temperature increase rate of H1 is HR1, the temperature increase rate of H2 is HR2, and the temperature increase rate of H3 is HR3, HR1 = 50 to 500 °C/min, HR2 = 11 to 300 °C/min, HR3 = 10 to 299 °C/min, HR1 > HR2, HR2/HR3 > 1, the starting temperature in each temperature increasing step is from room temperature to 500° C. for H1, from 900 to 1250° C. for H2, and from 1300 to 1550° C. for H3, reaching temperature in each temperature increasing step relates to a method for producing a sintered zirconia body that is 900 to 1250°C in H1, 1300 to 1550°C in H2, and 1400 to 1650°C in H3. |
