The present invention relates to a polyurethane containing hydroxyl groups and at least one group selected from the group consisting of acid groups and polyalkoxyylene groups, wherein the acid groups of the polyurethane, if present, are 0 to 100 mol-% of the acid groups. Polyurethane that is neutralized to the extent of; and a method for preparing a one-part polyurethane dispersion comprising a fully blocked polyisocyanate; Preparing a prepolymer comprising an average of 1.8 to 2.8 isocyanate groups in the presence of a fully blocked polyisocyanate and comprising a urethane group and at least one group selected from the group consisting of acid groups and polyalkoxylylene groups, thus preparing mixture A obtaining; preparing a polyurethane containing a hydroxyl group and at least one group selected from the group consisting of an acid group and a polyalkoxyylene group by reacting the hydroxy-functional polymer with a mixture A, thereby obtaining a mixture B; and neutralizing 0 to 100 mol-% of the acid groups, if contained in mixture B, based on the total amount of acid groups in mixture B. The present invention further relates to a one-component polyurethane dispersion obtainable according to the process of the invention, to a one-component coating material comprising the same, and to a coated substrate comprising the cured coating material. |
