abstract The present invention relates to a display device and a mobile terminal including the same, and includes a display panel including a display area in which a plurality of display pixels are disposed, and a first sensing area in which a plurality of display pixels and a plurality of sensor pixels are disposed. The display pixels of the display area and the display pixels of the first sensing area emit light by receiving the data voltage of the input image in the display mode. The sensor pixels of the first sensing area generate a photocurrent according to light reflected from the fingerprint in the fingerprint recognition mode. A display pixel resolution of the first sensing region is lower than a sensor pixel resolution.
