titleOfInvention |
Novel pyrimidine derivatives for the prevention and treatment of gram-negative bacterial infections, contamination and deposits |
abstract |
The present invention relates to novel pyrimidine derivatives optionally having detectable isotopes for use in the treatment or prevention of Gram-negative bacterial infections in a host mammal in need thereof and used in combination with transmembrane agents and medicaments thereof pharmaceutical compositions and to the use as inhibitors of gram-negative biofilm formation on the surface of biomaterials or medical devices, in particular cardiovascular devices, such as artificial heart valves or pacemakers. The present invention also relates to a pyrimidine derivative used in combination with a transmembrane agent for use as a radiotracer in the diagnosis or prognosis of a Gram-negative bacterial infection in a host mammal. |
