The present invention provides materials and methods for preventing, inhibiting or reducing biofilm formation and biofilm infection, particularly in the respiratory tract of a subject. The present invention utilizes growth byproducts of beneficial microorganisms to enhance the effectiveness of biocidal substances in the treatment, destruction and/or prevention of biofilms. Advantageously, the present invention is antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains such as MRSA, Helicobacter pylori (Helicobacter pylori), the S. pneumoniae (S. pneumoniae), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) and Fu A. fumigatus (A. fumigatus) useful about |
