titleOfInvention | Methods and devices for kidney transplantation |
abstract | The present invention relates to methods, devices and fluids for recovering kidneys, eg, excised from cardiac arrest cadavers, that have been exposed to thermal ischemia for at least 4 hours. After extraction, lys-plasminogen is injected into the kidney on a back table, and t-PA is injected 15 minutes later. After addition of the perosmotic circulating fluid comprising albumin and electrolyte, it is circulated through the kidneys together with the ris-plasminogen and t-PA to increase the circulating pressure from 20 mmHg to 70 mmHg for 30 to 75 minutes, e.g. For example, increase in steps of 5 mmHg per 5 minutes. The height is then assessed according to routine criteria. |
