abstract The present invention relates to a polyethylene resin composition and a separator for a secondary battery prepared from the polyethylene resin composition, wherein the polyethylene resin composition comprises 20 to 80% by weight of an ethylene homopolymer (A) having a relatively high high load melt flow index; and 20 to 80 wt% of an ethylene homopolymer (B) having a relatively low high load melt flow index; 3 to 500. According to the present invention, the polyethylene resin composition can simultaneously secure mechanical properties such as porosity of a molded article to which the polyethylene resin composition is applied while exhibiting excellent processability.
