abstract | The present invention provides compounds for the sequestration of undesirable antibodies (eg, associated with autoimmune diseases) in a patient. Compounds inert biopolymer scaffold and at least the formula P (- S - P) The peptides of formula 1 P n- Merced and the (n-1) (- S - P) of the second peptide of the (n-1) n -mers, wherein, independently for each occurrence, P is a peptide having a sequence length of 2 to 13 amino acids and S is a non-peptide spacer, wherein independently for each peptide n-mer , n is an integer of at least 1, wherein each of the peptide n-mers is bound to the biopolymer scaffold. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds, as well as methods of sequestering one or more antibodies present in a subject and methods of suppressing an immune response to treatment with an active agent. |
