abstract | The present invention relates to a spinal cord comprising 3-(4-chlorophenyl)-4-(4-aminosulfonyl-phenyl)-1-methyl- 1H -pyrrole-2,5-dione or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof It relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment or prevention of injury or spinal stenosis. The present inventors have newly discovered that the compound according to the present invention suppresses inflammation or pain of spinal cord injury or spinal stenosis by inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokines and PGE 2, which are inflammatory mediators. Since it can effectively suppress inflammation or pain caused by spinal stenosis, it is expected to be useful in preventing or treating the damage or stenosis. |
