abstract The present invention is made by removing kappa-carrageenan and iota-carrageenan from the total carrageenan and including the remaining lambda-carrageenan so that gelation does not occur during and/or after the manufacture of the adhesive, so that it is safe with characteristics of uniform spreadability and high adhesion. An adhesive and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the adhesive comprising carrageenan according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises kappa-carrageenan ( k -carrageenan) and Iota-carrageenan ( i -carrageenan) is removed and the remaining purified lambda-carrageenan ( λ -carrageenan) is included.
