abstract | Some embodiments of the invention are systems for a single downlink control information (DCI) signal that support multiple TRP transmissions from different transmit receive points (TRPs) (eg, different 5G Node Bs or different antenna panels). , apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media. A user equipment (UE) receives a single DCI signal comprising a first transmit configuration indicator (TCI) state of a first TRP, a second TCI state of a second TRP, and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port indication value. The UE uses the DMRS port indication value to determine a first code division multiplexing (CDM) group of a first DMRS port and a first TCI state and a second CDM group of a second DMRS port and a second TCI state. The UE receives a multiple physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) signal comprising multiple TRP transmissions and uses the determinations to decode data from the first and/or second TCI states. |
