abstract |
Disclosed is an apparatus for estimating biometric information based on a change in blood vessel diameter. According to an embodiment, the bioinformation estimation apparatus includes an ultrasound apparatus for obtaining an ultrasound image of a subject, a pressurizing apparatus for occluding a blood vessel by applying pressure to the subject, and an ultrasound image before and after occlusion of a blood vessel obtained by the ultrasound apparatus. It may include a processor for estimating a change in blood vessel diameter and estimating bio-information based on the estimated change in blood vessel diameter. |
