A novel technology for reducing the uncleaved portion of the TorA signal peptide is developed, and an efficient method for secretory production of a heterologous protein using the TorA signal peptide by coryneform bacteria is provided. By culturing a coryneform bacterium that has the ability to secrete and produce a heterologous protein using the TorA signal peptide, and which has been modified to increase the LepB protein activity, the heterologous protein is secreted and produced. |
