A method for diagnosing the condition of the gums using a protein showing a difference in expression between the gums in the normal state and the abnormal state in the saliva of a subject as a marker is provided. According to this, it is possible to reduce the effort of the patient by using a non-invasive method, and to determine the time when the patient needs treatment after checking the presence or absence of gum disease by himself/herself, thereby reducing treatment time and cost. |
