The aqueous acid binary silver-bismuth alloy electroplating composition comprises a 5-membered heterocyclic nitrogen compound having a thiol functional group, which enables the deposition of a silver-rich binary silver-bismuth alloy. Silver-rich silver-bismuth deposits are matte to semi-glossy, uniform, and have a low coefficient of friction. |
