The present invention relates to surface modification of silica (SiO 2 ), and more particularly, to a method for surface modification of hydrophobic silica using a silane coupling agent. In the case of the method according to the present invention, after synthesizing nano-sized silica, adding a solvent and controlling the pH without a reduced pressure and drying process, and then adding a silane coupling agent to the surface modification reaction, low cost and large capacity hydrophobicity through process improvement There is an advantage in that it is possible to prepare surface-modified silica. |
