Methods are provided for evaluating a nucleic acid sequence incorporated into the genome of a genetically engineered cell, such as a genetically engineered cell used in cell therapy. Cells are generally genetically engineered to express a recombinant protein, such as a recombinant receptor, by introducing a polynucleotide and incorporating a specific sequence within the polynucleotide, such as a recombinant sequence, into the genome of the cell. In some aspects, provided methods can be used to distinguish between integrated and non-integrated residual nucleic acids. |
