Apparatus and method for regulating blood flow in the eye |
abstract |
A device for treating, inhibiting or preventing a patient's eye condition may include a cover, wherein the cover is sized and shaped to fit over the patient's eye to define a cavity between the cover and the anterior surface of the eye when positioned over the patient's eye. It is decided. The device may include a pressure source in communication with the cavity and capable of applying non-ambient pressure within the cavity. The device is in communication with the pressure source and is configured to vary the non-ambient pressure applied to the cavity to affect a target pressure relationship between the indication of the first physiological pressure level and the second physiological pressure level associated with the patient's eye. It may include a control circuit. |
