Electrically passive low-level phototherapy system and methods of integrating the same |
abstract |
A low-level light therapy system having an electrically passive article of clothing that absorbs an incident spectrum comprising one or more of a UV wavelength, a visible wavelength, and a near infrared wavelength and emits light having an emission spectrum including visible and near infrared. Light is emitted from textile materials (as well as clothing products made of such textile materials) that are composed of yarns and yarn networks and have an emission spectrum including visible and near-infrared radiation in the direction of enhancing the human body. An article of clothing, a manufacturing method, and a low-level light treatment method are disclosed that emit light in the visible/near infrared spectrum. |
