abstract | Unlike the application of various drought indices from the perspective of conventional suppliers to island areas where extreme drought occurs, the water self-sufficiency index is based on demand acquired in real time from auxiliary water resources such as meteorological data and groundwater. WSI) and the Water Independency Index (WII) are applied to efficiently perform integrated operation and management of the water supply chain in island areas including a number of underground or land storage facilities and existing drainage areas, and underground storage in case of drought. It is possible to secure a golden time for securing water through the linkage operation between the facility and the drainage area, and also to preemptively respond to the drought in the island area by applying the actual water demand model in the island area based on the data measured locally. In addition, a system for integrated operation and management of storage facilities in islands, which is linked with real-time water supply capability index and water independence rate index, and its method are provided. |
