The present invention relates to the development of a mouse model that mimics autism spectrum disorder, one of neurodevelopment-related diseases, using a Gaba receptor antagonist. Autism spectrum disorders are known to be primarily related to environmental and genetic factors, but the exact cause is not clear. Because it is caused by a variety of causes, there are difficulties such as time-consuming and costly in creating an animal model for a related experiment. In the present invention, by simply administering a gaba receptor antagonist to mice, an animal model was developed that shows a social deficit and an increase in repetitive behavior, which are key symptoms of autism spectrum disorder. |
