The present invention relates to an improved method of preparing a diphenylmethane derivative useful as an inhibitor of sodium-dependent glucose cotransporter (SGLT), and is performed by a convergent synthesis method in which the main groups are individually synthesized and then coupled. Therefore, compared to the linear synthesis method disclosed in the prior art, the synthesis route is concise and the yield can be increased, and the risk factors inherent in the sequential synthesis route can be reduced. In addition, the crystalline form of the compound prepared by the above method has excellent physicochemical properties and can be usefully used in fields such as pharmaceutical manufacturing. |
