The present disclosure relates to genetically modified rodents and rodent models of human disease. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to the humanized Il1rl2 gene (encoding the IL1rl2 subunit of the IL-36R protein) and the human IL-36, and a ligand gene. The genetically modified rodents disclosed herein exhibit improved skin and intestinal inflammation as a preclinical model of psoriasis and IBD, respectively, and function as rodent models of human DITRA disease. |
