Methods of local protection against air pollutant molecules and/or free radicals generated by exposure to ultraviolet radiation |
abstract |
A method of topical protection against air pollutant molecules and ultraviolet (UV) radiation is disclosed, comprising the following steps: a) preparing a polymer matrix that is repellent and anti-adhesive to air pollutant molecules by means of the first biocompatible polymer (BP1); b) Under the effect of UV radiation, by the first semiconductor colloid (Col-1) grafted with the second biocompatible polymer (BP2), photocatalytic decomposition of contaminant molecules penetrating the polymer matrix to form free radicals Inducing a; c) at least two antioxidants, i.e.: -As a first antioxidant in the form of a second semiconductor colloid (Col-2) to which a first antioxidant (AntiOx-1) is covalently grafted; The second grafted colloid (Col-2) is self-regenerating under the effect of UV radiation, a first antioxidant; And -The second antioxidant (AntiOx-2) that the antioxidant is not presented in a grafted colloidal form Neutralizing the free radicals by; And d) Stabilizing the polymer matrix with a second antioxidant (AntiOx-2). |
