abstract The present invention relates to a rare earth element-containing zeolite material having a skeletal structure selected from the group consisting of AEI, AFT, AFV, AFX, AVL, CHA, EMT, GME, KFI, LEV, LTN, SFW, and mixtures of two or more thereof. And the skeleton structure of the zeolite material includes SiO 2 and X 2 O 3 , where X represents a trivalent element, the zeolite material represents a SiO 2 :X 2 O 3 molar ratio in the range of 2 to 20, the Zeolitic materials contain one or more rare earth elements as counter-ions at the ion exchange sites of the framework structure. In addition, the present invention provides not only the method for producing the rare earth element-containing zeolite material of the present invention, but also the rare earth element-containing zeolite material itself and/or the rare earth element-containing zeolite material obtainable and/or obtained according to the method of the present invention.
