abstract |
It is to provide a method for producing a carbonaceous material for a negative electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery from a carbon precursor impregnated with an alkali metal element or an alkali metal compound in large quantities, and an apparatus for carrying out such production. In the method for producing a carbonaceous material for a negative electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to the present invention, a carbon precursor containing an alkali metal element and/or an alkali metal compound is supplied and fired at a temperature in the range of 1000°C to 1500°C in a non-oxidizing gas atmosphere. The sintering process that generates carbonaceous materials and discharges the carbonaceous material, and the exhaust gas that treats the exhaust gas by contacting the non-oxidizing exhaust gas including the gas generated in the firing process and the carbonaceous fly product with water or aqueous solution. It includes a gas treatment process. |
