abstract |
The present invention provides a peptide nucleic acid derivative targeting the 3'splice position of human MLPH pre-mRNA "exon 2". The peptide nucleic acid derivatives of the present invention strongly induce the production of splice variants of human MLPH mRNA in cells, and are useful for treating diseases or disorders of skin pigmentation related to transcription of human MLPH genes. |
