titleOfInvention | Method for removing heavy metals from zinc solution |
abstract | Disclosed is a method of removing heavy metal components remaining after preparing a purified zinc sulfate solution, which is an intermediate material for preparing zinc sulfate monohydrate for use as a feed additive from a zinc manganese solution derived from waste batteries. The present invention is a method of removing heavy metals from a zinc sulfate solution, (i) reacting an excess of sulfuric acid to the zinc sulfate solution, or (ii) treating the zinc sulfate solution with zincation (ZnO) or zinc dust (Zn dust). Or, (iii) the zinc sulfate solution is co-precipitated with carbonate (-CO 3 ), or (iv) the zinc sulfate solution is co-precipitated with hydroxide (-OH) to remove heavy metals including lead and cadmium. to provide. |
