abstract |
The present invention relates to Bifidobacterium breve deposited as DSM 32356 and a composition comprising the strain. The composition further comprises one or more other bacterial strains and/or one or more compounds which may be NSAIDs such as acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin). In a currently preferred embodiment, the present invention provides a Bifidobacterium deposited as DSM 32356 for use in defense support against intestinal tissue damage, such as intestinal mucosal defects or lesions associated with NSAID administration, such as those associated with administration of acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin). It's about Leeum Brevet. The present invention is a method of supporting defense against intestinal tissue damage, in which a subject in need of the Bifidobacterium brevet strain deposited as DSM 32356, such as Bifidobacterium deposited as DSM 32356 in a subject in need of NSAID treatment It further provides a method comprising administering the Leeum Brevet strain. |
