The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating gum disease containing as an active ingredient lipid nanoparticles comprising a partially hydrolyzed ginsenoside and a solvent in which mastic gum is collected. Specifically, the lipid nanoparticles containing the ginsenosides and solvents in which the mastic gum of the present invention is collected has no hemolytic toxicity and cytotoxicity, and the solubility and anti-inflammatory effect are improved compared to that of dissolving the mastic gum powder in a medium. Since it has the effect of inhibiting the development of periodontitis known as the cause of gum disease, it can be used as a raw material for foods, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics, and can be particularly useful as a composition for preventing and treating gum disease. |
