Polymer-encapsulated viral vectors for gene therapy |
abstract |
The present technology relates to a gene delivery vehicle comprising a retroviral vector coated with a polymer or mixture of polymers to form nanoparticles. The retroviral vector comprises a transgene and in certain embodiments lacks an envelope protein. The present technology includes a method of preparing a gene delivery vehicle and a method of treating a disease by administering the gene delivery vehicle. |
