Provided herein are methods of identifying individuals diagnosed with a cell proliferative disease that benefit from treatment with a telomerase inhibitor compound. Also provided herein are methods of treating these subjects with a telomerase inhibitor compound. The method includes identifying an individual who will benefit from the treatment based on the average relative length of telomeres in the individual's cancer cells. |
