A composite ceramic laminate comprising a substrate and a composite ceramic comprising a nitride phase and an oxide phase having an elastic modulus different from that of the nitride phase by 10% or more on the substrate. The composite ceramics have a first phase, which occupies the largest area ratio among the nitride phase and the oxide phase, and a toughening phase, which occupies an area ratio of 1% or more and is the largest difference from the elastic modulus of the first phase. In the first phase and the toughened phase, when the first phase is the nitride phase, the toughened phase is the oxide phase, and when the first phase is the oxide phase, the toughened phase is the nitride phase. |
