It provides a semi-aromatic polyamide fiber excellent in spinning stability, heat resistance and chemical resistance. In the semi-aromatic polyamide fiber, the dicarboxylic acid component is an aromatic dicarboxylic acid unit, and the molar ratio of the 1,9-nonandiamine unit and the 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine unit of the diamine component is 70:30 -99:1, which is a semi-aromatic polyamide fiber composed of a semiaromatic polyamide resin having a melting point of 290°C or higher and a plasticizer having a 5% thermogravimetric reduction temperature of 320°C or higher. |
