The present invention relates to a powder coating composition suitable for crosslinking a low-temperature powder coating, typically the curing temperature is 75 to 140° C., which can be used for powder coating temperature-sensitive substrates such as MDF, wood, plastic or temperature sensitive metal alloys. The powder coating composition is a crosslinkable component A having at least two acidic CH donor groups in activated methylene or methine, preferably reacting with component A by addition of Real Michael under the action of catalyst system C, which is a latent catalyst system. And a crosslinkable component B having C=C activated unsaturated acceptor groups. In addition, the present invention relates to a method of preparing such a powder coating composition, a method of coating an article using the powder coating composition, and a resulting coated article. The invention also relates to certain polymers for use in powder coatings and the use of certain catalyst systems in such powder coating compositions. |
