titleOfInvention | Biodegradable polymer microparticles containing steroid drugs and a method for manufacturing the same |
abstract | The present invention relates to a biodegradable polymer microparticle containing a steroid drug and a method for producing the same, wherein the steroid drug and the biodegradable polyester polymer, which are anti-inflammatory agents, are dissolved in an appropriate organic solvent and sprayed into a low-temperature hydrocarbon solution to be frozen. After making the microparticles, biodegradable polymer microparticles containing steroid drugs were prepared through a manufacturing method in which the organic solvent contained in the microparticles was dissolved by putting them in a low-temperature salt aqueous solution, and the prepared steroid drugs were included. By confirming that the biodegradable polymer microparticles have excellent biocompatibility, biodegradability, porosity, and mechanical strength, and the steroid drug is slowly released for a long period of time, the biodegradable polymer microparticles including the steroid drug of the present invention are used. It is expected to be able to develop a steroid-based drug delivery composition capable of minimizing side effects while showing the maximal anti-inflammatory activity by steroid drugs. |
