abstract The present invention relates to a method of preparing a powdered organic peroxide formulation, the method comprising the following steps: a) preparing a reaction mixture, wherein the reaction mixture is: -40 to 80% by weight water, -10 to 25% by weight of acid chloride or chloroformate, -1 to 4% by weight hydrogen peroxide, -2 to 8% by weight alkali metal hydroxide, -1 to 25% by weight of ethylene glycol dibenzoate, phenyl benzoate, trimethylol propane tribenzoate, glyceryl tribenzoate, ethylene glycol ditoluate, 1,3-propanediol ditoluate, ethylene glycol 4 -tert-butylbenzoate, ethylene glycol monobenzoate monotoluate, 2,3-butanediol dibenzoate, 4-methylphenyl benzoate acid ester, trimethylolpropane dibenzoate, and a flag selected from the group consisting of combinations thereof Phlegmatizer, -0.002 to 0.20% by weight of surfactant, and -0.25 to 5.0% by weight of an inert organic solvent Wherein all percentages are based on the weight of the reaction mixture, and b) heating the reaction mixture at a temperature of 5°C to 50°C.
